Drawing Mega Minion in Chalk for the Hopkins Raspberry Festival

A Mega Minion was spotted at the Hopkins Raspberry Festival! 💛 This year, I had a blast creating this larger-than-life Minion from Despicable Me 4, complete with a cute and funny twist—a raspberry in its mouth! The piece was a playful nod to the Raspberry Festival and added some extra fun to the Family Day activities.

It was so great to be back chalking again this year, and I couldn’t believe how much the chalk art event has grown since it started. I’m grateful to have been part of the festival for the fifth year in a row! What started as a small idea to bring something different to the festival during Covid has turned into a beloved part of the event each year. I’m so honored to still be a part of it.

A huge thank you to Jodene, LouJean, and all of the festival volunteers for organizing an incredible event. The Mega Minion had a lot of fun "pretending" to eat that raspberry, and I loved seeing all the smiles from festival-goers as they interacted with the art!

📍 Find the Mega Minion on the ARTery at 8th and Main, right between Tibet Corner and the Hopkins Chipotle, across from LTD Brewing.
