I had such a great time creating a tower of 3D Minions at Monticello Let’s Chalk! One of the best parts of this project was watching everyone strike their best pose on top of the Minion tower, bringing the artwork to life with their interactions.

A huge thank you to Mayor Lloyd, Monti Arts, the City of Monticello, all the amazing volunteers, and of course, my sponsor West Metro Auto for making this artwork and fantastic weekend possible.

This 3D Minion tower was one of my favorite pieces to create. It’s crazy to think it’s only been a year since I started doing 3D chalk art! I also recently began incorporating paint into my work, which has been a game changer, especially for highly textured surfaces. Shout out to Wooster Brush Company for making brushes that are street artist-approved—they worked wonders for this piece!

If you’re in the Monticello area, let me know if this artwork is still around! I’d love to see how it’s holding up.

Banana!!! 🍌

P.S. Here is the tempera paint I used for this piece and most street painting I do!
